Thomas Ronald Wilbert

Thomas Ronald Wilbert, 75, of Butler, passed away on April 15, 2024, at the Butler VA Medical Center.

He was born January 1, 1949 in Herman, a son of the late Earl J. Wilbert and Catherine (McGee) Wilbert.

Thomas was a retired Boiler Maker, Union Local #154 and was a veteran, having served honorably in the United States Navy.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #117 in Butler.

Surviving is his daughter, Megan (Wayne) Huston of Butler.

His siblings:  Carolyn (Patrick) McGrady of Fenelton, Dorothy Duffy of Florida and Denis (Angela) Wilbert of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 8 siblings:  Rose Welter, Mary Margaret Wilbert, Rita West, James Wilbert, Melvin Wilbert, Leroy Wilbert, Charles Wilbert and Donald Wilbert.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Thursday.  Services will be held, along with Military Honors at 1:00 pm at the graveside in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.
