My heart breaks. Dorothy was one of the sweetest people I know. She always had a kind word to say. This is just so hard to believe. God received a true angel. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family friends and loved ones. May God give you comfort and peace during this devastating time.

Sympathies to the Smaretsky families. We grew up with them on Ridge Ave. Still see Kathryn and Karen Smaretsky Vargo , Dorothy was a great person. Always smiling and would never hesitate to call out your name when she saw you coming. She will be truly missed. Our brother Dennis & his wife Beverly are here from Tennessee. They were sad to hear of Dorothy's passing. God Bless the family. R.I.P. Dorothy.

Dear Smaretsky family,
I had the great honor of working for Dorothy at my very first job at Murphys Mart. She was a kind and gentle mentor for many of us who admired her work ethic but more so her friendship. May you know that she was loved by those with whom she worked those many years ago.

Hello, thank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear such things from her old friends. She always spoke fondly of her Co workers at Murphy's Mart and how much she enjoyed it.
