Dear Rosie and family: We are so very sorry of your father's passing. We got to know your father over the past few years after we, Isaac and I, moved here. Isaac loved Hubert. He was willing to help whenever he could. He mowed their lawn for them even when it didn't need mowed. Isaac has autism.. and has such a special heart and love for people. This is difficult for him to lose Hubert. But he understands that Hubert lived a long life and not everyone can live forever. Isaac lost him mommy 13 years ago and I adopted him and Dick and I are raising him in the old Goldinger home in East Butler.. neighbors of Rosie and Hubert. We will miss Hubert a lot. RIP dear friend.

My Dearest Uncle Hubert, I am sorry that I was sick and had to miss your funeral. I have such fond memories of you: your unique voice, your laugh, your awesome sense of humor, I remember as a little girl, how exciting it was when you would stop by our house and surprise us with a visit. You would raid the cookie jar and tell us jokes and would give my Dad a hard time. You and Dad would play pool and harass each other the whole time! It was always so much fun when you were around. I will never forget you and I will cherish the stool you made for me and the lamp and other crafty items you made with your own hands. You lived a good life and you will be missed. I am fortunate to have had you for a Great Uncle and Godfather and I will never forget you.

Wtih love,

Annie (Mary Ann)

Rosie, Mike and families,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Heitzer's passing. He was such a kind and great man. I always enjoyed seeing him sitting outside on my way to the backfields years ago and just last year when he would come down to the club for wings. May he rest in eternal peace. May god be with you all during this difficult time. God Speed...
