Margaret M. Lipnichan

Margaret M. Lipnichan, 91, of Butler passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.

Born August 28, 1925 in McKees Rocks, she was a daughter of the late Stephen A. and Theresa M. Matis Lipnichan.

She was the Executive and Personal Secretary to the President and CEO of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. She was employed there from 1947 until her retirement in 1983.

Margaret moved to Butler in November, 2006 from the North Hills of Pittssburgh.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Croatia (Yugoslavia). She also enjoyed reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and Crafting.

Surviving are a brother, Richard (Joyce) Lipinchan of Bruin, PA and a sister, Josephine Chilcott of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
