Mary C. "Cathy" Fair

Mary C. “Cathy” Fair, 73, of Butler, died Tuesday morning, September 13, 2016, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born February 7, 1943 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Ralph A. Lang and Mary L. Fiscus Lang.

She was a Homemaker and Mother, was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian and also the Deer Hunters Association in Harrisville. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, working with flowers and mostly enjoyed spoiling her dog Maddie.

Surviving are her sons: William E. (Jean) Fair, II of Butler and Kenneth P. (Karen Ann) Fair of Chicora.

1 daughter: Daelene (Wayne) Rodgers of Butler.

2 grandsons: Vincent (Melanie) Rodgers and Christopher Rodgers and his fiance Emily Bruce.

1 granddaughter, Kenzie Fair.

She was expecting her first great grandson in October.

1 brother, Thomas A. (Ginny) Lang of Florida.

1 sister, Joan (John) Boozel, Sr. of Renfrew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Willy” Fair, whom she married June 26, 1965, he died July 27, 2013.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian. Internment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

The Bereavement Committee of St. Fidelis Parish will meet at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home for a Prayer Service.
