Rosemary Hinchberger, 79, of Butler, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the V.N.A. Inpatient Hospice.

 

Born December 22, 1936 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul C. Convery Sr. and Rose I. (Miller) Convery.

 

Rosemary was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Couples Compact Bowling League and the Sunrise Ladies League. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and needle point, which she won Blue Ribbon Awards for at the Butler Farm Show and also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

 

Surviving is her husband, Lewis A. Hinchberger, whom she married October 15, 1955.

 

1 daughter, Corina Hinchberger of Pittsburgh.

 

1 son, Chris Hinchberger of Butler.

 

1 sister, Roberta (Pete) Scuoteguazza of Butler.

 

1 brother, Paul (Eileen) Convery of Wantage, New Jersey.

 

Grandchildren: Lacee Hensel, Gereme Hensel, Chelsea Hensel, Tyler Hensel, Shane Hinchberger, Jordan Hinchberger, Joel Hinchberger and Matthew Hinchberger.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patti Lou Hensel and a sister, Joan Harvey.

 

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery, Butler.

 

St. Pauls Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church to recite the Rosary.
